Questions?

If you have questions about SAP, lifting your SSC hold or scheduling your meeting, contact the Student Success Center. For questions about your financial aid status or SAP appeal, contact Student Financial Services at sfs@mst.edu.

To continue receiving federal financial aid, you must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress by meeting specific GPA, course completion, and timeframe requirements.

For complete details about SAP requirements and policies, visit the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy page.

Students on Financial Aid Probation or those submitting a 3-Semester SAP Academic Plan are required to work with the Student Success Center. During your meeting, a Success Coach will help you:

  • Understand what led to your SAP status
  • Identify resources and support services available to you
  • Create a realistic academic plan for the next 1-3 semesters
  • Develop strategies for academic success moving forward

To have your SSC Hold released, you must schedule a meeting with a Success Coach.

Schedule Your Meeting and fill out the required information. Your hold will be released once you've completed your meeting and developed your academic success plan.

Schedule a meeting

After meeting with your Success Coach and creating your academic plan, you'll be prepared to:

  • Submit your SAP appeal to Student Financial Assistance (sfs@mst.edu) if required
  • Follow your academic plan each semester to maintain aid eligibility
  • Access ongoing support from the Student Success Center
