What's something you enjoy doing outside of class? Working with my executive board of the "National Society of Black Engineers" Organization

How would your friend describe you in three words? Ambitious, Reliable, Trustworthy

Tell us about a time you struggled or failed during college. What did you learn from it? During my freshman year I struggled with my General Chemistry 1 course, due to the class load. It was very confusing and at times stressful to deal with the reading, assignments, and lectures, all while juggling my personal activities. With these issues, I struggled to understand the information given at times. This was my point of realization of where I knew I needed to adjust my schedule and delegate, in favor of the course. This means that I needed to drop a couple of my unimportant hobbies and use more resources around campus such as the Learning Center and tutoring more often. After my adjustment, I passed the course with a comfortable B.

What's a fun or unexpected fact that says a lot about who you are? I would consider myself a heavy optimist. I think that taking in the positives to any situation makes going through it better. For me, it makes it easier to deal with stressful situations, allowing my mind to stay focused and create the next solution if needed. This doesn't directly mean that I don't acknowledge the more aggravative situations that may arise, but I choose to not let them control how I see my experience heavily. Life is more enjoyable that way, and less annoying in my opinion.
